About Mrs. Johnson
I was born in California, and my family moved to Tigard when I was very young. I attended Metzger Elementary, Fowler middle school and I graduated from Tigard High School. I was a dance instructor for 13 years, I taught tap, jazz and ballet to students from age 3 to adults.
I have two daughters, ages 19 and 20, a step-daughter 14 and a step-son 13. My oldest daughter is a junior at University of Oregon. My youngest daughter graduated Tigard High School in 2016 and will be attending PCC. My step daughter attends Tigard High as a freshman and my step son is in 7th grade at Twality Middle School. Both my daughters attended Alberta Rider from the first day it opened! I volunteered a lot when they went to Alberta Rider and after they went on to middle school I worked at Alberta Rider as a reading assistant and a special ed assistant. When my girls got older I decided to go back to school to become a school teacher. I graduated in December of 2012 from George Fox University and I taught 5th grade at Charles F. Tigard for a year before coming to teach at Alberta Rider.
I am happy to be back at Alberta Rider working with all the wonderful staff here and I am excited to be teaching your 4th- grade class!
